Laser Cutting Process

The laser cutting process uses the energy released when the laser beam hits the steel plate surface to melt and evaporate the stainless steel. Generally, the CO2 laser beam is used as a laser source, with working power of 500-2500 watts. The power level is lower than that required by many household electric heaters, but the laser beam is concentrated in a very small area through the lens and reflector. The high concentration of energy enables rapid local heating and evaporation of stainless steel.
