Powder coating for carbon steel

- Oct 24, 2019-

The powder coating is a solid powdery synthetic resin coating composed of a solid resin and a pigment, a filler, and an auxiliary agent. Unlike common solvent-based coatings and water-based coatings, its dispersion medium is not solvent and water, but air. It has solvent-free pollution, 100% film formation and low energy consumption. Powder coatings are available in both thermoplastic and thermoset types. Thermoplastic powder coatings have poor coating appearance (gloss and leveling) and poor adhesion to metals, so they are rarely used in the field of carbon steel table leg coating. Carbon steel table legs are generally coated with thermosetting powder. Coatings, thermosetting powder coatings are thermosetting synthetic resins as film-forming materials. During the drying process, the resin is first melted, and then chemically cross-linked to form a flat and hard coating film. The paint film appearance and various material properties and corrosion resistance of the coating can meet the requirements of carbon steel table leg finishing. A table made of carbon steel table legs is very suitable for placement at home.
